Tudor Update
After downsizing from a larger home in Evanston, our client realized they needed to reconfigure the landscape. They charged us with several tasks; help their friends find the front door; create a visual and physical barrier from the road; update stairs and steps to the house; and create a nice space to relax and dine outside. In the front yard, we added lighting, steps and pillars at the sidewalk to designate entry points to the property and a subtle Yew hedge to hide the street from various rooms on the first floor. In the back and side yards, we designed metal and stone landing and stairs leading out of the house to spaces that provide privacy, festive lighting and visual interest.
